ABSTRACT
This dataset can be used to understand the intermodal connections for freight transfer and may be used for analysis, spatial mapping, and transportation modeling. The Intermodal Freight Facilities - Air-to-Truck dataset was compiled on January 15, 2019 and was updated on February 24, 2020 from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This dataset includes air to truck intermodal freight facilities for the top 60 airports by total freight moved in 2017. This dataset is one of several layers in the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) Intermodal Freight Facility Database.
