ABSTRACT
This collection of historic aerial photographs was captured between April 18th, 1980 and March 28th, 1981 on various dates. The 304 photos in this collection cover areas in the following Pennsylvania counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Indiana, Washington, and Westmoreland. The scale of the photos is 1:80,000 with a focal length of 153.034mm. These photos were taken by Keystone Aerial Surveys, Inc. for the Southwestern Pennsylvania Regional Planning Commission (SPRPC). This collection was given to the Donald W. Hamer Center for Maps and Geospatial Information by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Geological Survey Library. The photos were scanned at 800 dpi on an Epson Expression 11000 scanner by the Donald W. Hamer Center for Maps and Geospatial Information. A historic aerial photograph index map sheet is included. An orthomosaic and center point index were produced for this collection.
