ABSTRACT
Orthoimagery is remotely sensed image data in which displacement of features in the image caused by terrain relief and sensor orientation have been mathematically removed. Orthoimagery combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. This orthoimagery consists of 1-foot pixel resolution, natural color county mosaics in JPEG2000 format derived from downsampled Nearmap imagery acquired in the late winter/early spring of 2020. The mosaics cover the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission's 9-county region (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania; and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Mercer counties in New Jersey).
