Abstract:

Data Development:The Street Types (street_typ) are developed, identified, and mapped by the City Planning Commission and refrence street Center lines. The Street Types take into account, traditional levels of service for automobiles, pedestrian activity and land use. Upwards of thirty columns (from street_typ to stormwater) are populated according to the Complete Streets Handbook, as managed by the Streets Department and the Mayor’s Office of Transportation and utitilies. The Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan, as well as the Complete Streets Handbook both serve as the refrenes for this shapefile. Purpose:

The Complete Streets Layer combines the Street Types developed by the City Planning Commission’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan, with the Complete Streets Handbook of the Mayor’s Office of Transportation and Utilities.
