Abstract:

Traffic volumes; measured and calculated amounts of vehicle traffic that travel the sections of road.

Purpose:

Determine traffic volumes on Pennsylvania roads to assist with traffic light placement and speed limit ranges

Digitized into Bentley Microstation system from most recently available 7.5 minute USGS topographic quadrangles on a stable (mylar) base.  Updated information is added from orthophotography, construction plans and maps as this information becomes available.
