Abstract: 
The Erie PA Hydrology mapping will consist of the following:

1.	Island – land areas within rivers and water bodies.
2.	Marsh_Swamp – marshes, swamps and areas of intermittent water.
3.	River_Poly – double line streams that are wider than 8 feet wide.
4.	Streams – single line stream less than 8 feet wide.
5.	Waterbody – a quarter acre ponds larger than 200 sq. ft. within 200 feet. of the bluff line and half an acre beyond 200 feet.
Purpose: 
The goal is to develop and/or update their hydrography that is being used by state and county agencies, other levels of government, academia, and the general public.

Process_Description: 
Woolpert produced a new hydrology dataset extending 500–feet beyond the county line. The hydrology were delivered in ESRI geo-database format. The hydrology were classified as follows:
-Hydrology (created as a 3D map component) included rivers, streams, lakes, ponds (1/2 acre and larger) including GIS connectivity, meaning that water obstructed by culverts and bridges depicted the hydrology features as a continuous (connected network) feature.  The GIS attribution was based upon the USGS NHD Dataset for the hydrology features collected.
