Abstract:

This data product has a county-wide coverage and is intended to provide a useful representation of the geometry and topology of tax parcels. The maps were derived from a variety of source documents including certified survey maps, deed descriptions, subdivision plans, and condominium plats. This product is intended for graphical representation and the information contained herein should not be relied upon for determination of ownership or market value.

Purpose:

The parcels are intended to provide a graphical representation of deeded properties in Dauphin County and be used for basemapping, thematic mapping and analysis.

For reference use only. No warranties, expressed or implied, are provided for the positional or thematic accuracy of the data herein, its use, or its interpretation. The information contained in this layer is a representation of the legal description contained in the deed description of the property. If specific and precise accuracy is required, a survey should be obtained.
