This layer contains those streams/rivers within Pennsylvania that have specifc special regulations related to boating as defined by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

Purpose:

Mapping of areas with special boating regulations and to inform the boating public of the restrictions.

Supplemental_Information:

This layer was created based on the 1:24000 National Hydropahy Dataset (NHD) flowing waters layer.  The appropriate portions of the  flowing waters were copied into the layer and merged based on the definition of each special regulation area.  This resulted in one stream segment per each defined special regulation area.
