Pennsylvania Spatial Data Access

Abstract:

This MajorStream dataset includes portions of the Allegheny and Clarion Rivers, the Allegheny Reservoir and the larger streams which lie within the Allegheny National Forest (ANF).

Purpose:

The purpose of this data is to support project-level planning, decision making, implementation and monitoring for Forest Service managers, GIS Specialists and others.

Attribute_Accuracy_Report:

Feature in this dataset were copied from the Stream dataset which was originally derived from the CFF stream data.

Completeness_Report:

Dataset only contains streams which the data steward considers "major" for use in creating a broadscale map of streams on the Forest.  Most features were selected using the cff codes 402, 403, 410 and 413.

Horizontal_Positional_Accuracy_Report:

Meets National Mapping Accuracy Standards (NMAS) for 1:24000 scale mapping.
