Description

Orthoimagery is remotely sensed image data in which displacement of features in the image caused by terrain relief and sensor orientation have been mathematically removed. Orthoimagery combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map.

This orthoimagery consists of 1-foot pixel resolution, natural color county mosaics in MrSID MG4 format derived from downsampled Nearmap imagery acquired in the late winter/early spring of 2025.

Credits

Recipients of DVRPC digital files will credit DVRPC as the source of the data when producing maps, publications, reports, or other documents that utilize DVRPC files.
