Abstract:

Polygon shapefile of the Juniata Subbasin.  This file was created from the 2006 subbasin.shp SRBC dataset.

Purpose:

Dataset developed to fit the needs of the Susquehanna River Basin Commission and is intended for educational display purposes only.

Corrected watershed lines along the Upper Susq. and Chemung Subbasins in order to match the boundary line to the SRBC delineated subbasin line that exists on 1:24,000 scale USGS topographic maps.

Process_Description:

Added field "Subbasin" to wshd24k.shp.  Populated field according to which subbasin each watershed was located in based on the original subbasin dataset.  Dissolved wshed24k based on the "Subbasin" field.  Updated Area, Perimeter, and SQM fields in the new subbasin dataset.
