Abstract:
Overview: Input data used in the analysis: National Wetland Inventory (2014, 1:24,000), US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Wetlands Inventory (FWS/NWI). Purpose:
The purpose of this dataset is to characterize all mapped wetlands from the NWI (2014) of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through a Level 1 Landscape Analysis. Wetland sites are defined as 1-km radius circles around the center point of each wetland polygon. The following indicators are quantified at each wetland site: Area (m2) and percentage (%) of each land use class, landscape development intensity (LDI) index, road density (km/km2), and percentage of impervious surface.
