Purpose:

Mapping and analysis of the various water bodies in Pennsylvania that are currently or have previously been stocked, regulated or sampled.

This layer was created by selecting the appropriate polygons from the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) water bodies layer and copying into a new layer.  Key attributes from the PFBC Fisheries Database records were appended to the lakes to complete the data set.
