Goal: In this exercise you will learn how to Relate tables. Related tables can be used to classify but do not become appended to the destination table.
At the end of this exercise, you will be able to:
Step 1.Add the "Countbnd.shp" and the "Mcdnew.shp" to the View1.

Step 2. Click the left-mouse button and drag the "Countbnd.shp" on the top in the Table of Contents. We need to make the "Countbnd.shp" clear so we are able to see the "Mcdnew.shp". These next steps are similar to Lesson 6.
Step 3.Double-click on the green area
of "Countbnd.shp" in the Table of Contents. When the Symbol Selector opens double-click on
Hollow.

You now have both countbnd.shp and Mcdnew.shp represented in the view.

Note: If you are having trouble seeing the "countbnd.shp" layer. The Outline Color and Outline Width can be adjusted in the Symbol Selector window.

Close the Symbol Selector, and the outline you just created should now be applied to your map in View1.
